for everyone

Have you ever wondered which hurts the most?
Saying something and wishing you hadn't?, or
Saying nothing and wishing you had?

I guess the most important things are the hardest things to say.

I guess it depends on what you have to say. In some ways I'd think it's easier to bear the second because you can't unsay things.

Sa akin ...

Let it out in the open. It's just a matter of burden gone or burden replaced.

But that's me.

"The truth shall set you free" ... if the person you will be talking to can handle the truth :) However sometimes there are things that are better left unsaid. I remember reading from an article of Max Lucado :

" Insensitivity makes a wound that heals slowly. If someone hurts your feelings intentionally you know how to react. You know the source of the pain. But if someone accidentally bruises your soul, it’s difficult to know how to respond"

Even if you mean well, sometimes its better to think twice before saying anything. Why should I say this ? Will it improve the situation if I do ? What are my intentions ? Will it help at all ?

Amen. Hard enough knowing everybody and his brother his keeping secrets. It may be harder dealing with knowing just what those secrets are.

Saying something and wishing I hadn't or wishing I had said it better is more painful for me. When I keep silent, I tend to keep my peace and console myself that I can speak up later, but when something is said, it becomes irretreivable. Eloquence is silver but silence is gold.

hmmm ... seems like I'm all alone in this one.

I still say ... say it and then deal with it. Silence maybe gold. Honesty is Platinum. Acceptance are gold pressed Latinums.

Some things are better left unsaid. Some things must be said to the person concerned before he/she gets it from another source.Usually the most trusted people are the ones left to decide. In some cases,OMERTA is strictly observed. As stated by intelligence and covert military units-"Need to Know Basis only."
